I mean what if someone decided to rent the house for a month but said no to looking after the dog? They’d probably turn them down. They’re looking for a free petsitter under the guise of “reduced” rent.

So, by his reasoning isn’t he the ultimate “landed gentry”? He’s CEO simply because he’s been there since the beginning not because of any particular business acumen.
