1 year ago256GB is more than enough unless you always exclusively shoot ProRAW images at the full 48MP as those eat up a lot of space quick.

The oval-shaped cutout is for the mmWave 5G antenna. Exclusive to regions that support mmWave/Ultra Wideband like the US region iPhones afaik. Other regions don’t get it as they don’t support it.
