The best pranks are the ones that people pull when they know they don’t risk revenge
Did that ease your latent anxiety as well? Have you been on both?
Hmm, ok I’ll consider it. Whenever I’ve had it before it went away after I solved the problem. And I’ve only had it for a week atm. But I will if it carries on like this.
Is it possible that the idea of switching to a different degree, while easier, may be less fulfilling in someway?
I was just thinking about this actually. Perhaps it’s because I’m trapped in a choice with stress either way: either stress from completing a demanding degree, or stress from the imposter syndrome I’d get from trying to get into the field I’m interested in with a easier but less relevant degree. :-/
Thank you
It must be a box office worthy dream
Are you sure they’re naps?
You say you had problems with short term memory – did you keep forgetting what you were doing have having to re-trace your steps/thoughts? This is one of my problems, it’s gotten so bad that I forget like every 2 minutes and always mumble ‘What was I doing? What was I doing?’ to myself…
Yes I’ve been on it for half a year now. I feel like I’m emotionally still the same (good thing) but the background anxiety that always used to constrain me has gone. I’ll have a talk with my psych and ask him once more if he could keep me on it. (My ADHD problems are more to do with not being able to focus on boring things rather than emotional dysregulation)
This looks like it deserves my time, I will give it a read.

I was actually thinking about this. I think it’s partially because in both pictures, items which have a totally different function are graphically uniform (eg. in the bottom picture, one of the boxes takes you to an action, but another opens a passive PDF), and there are no icons. It’s like if on your computer, the setting app had the same icon as an ordinary folder.
And in Blackboard you see multiple levels of the app’s hierarchy on the screen at once — sometimes multiple levels are shown uniformly in the same UI element.
