Still would take a PS5 over Xbox for all the reasons you mentioned

Starfield… which is the only reason I would get an Xbox right now but to play one game isn’t worth it and I would rather build a PC to play any games on Xbox anyway

I think PS break if you don’t take care of them properly. The SSD/hard drives are notorious for breaking if not shutting down all the way before unplugging. May be a good teaching opportunity on how to care for technology (and extension one’s own possessions properly)
