When your apps close the connection won’t drop if you use screen mirroring to do AirPlay. Give it a try. 😉
This is what I was as thinking, AirDrop Passwords. That has to be what happened.
What kinds of issues are you referring to specifically?
What are you talking about? I did the same thing, except I upgraded from an XS Max to a 15 Pro Max, and it is a phenomenal phone. It doesn’t suck in any way.
There is no “excessive battery drain”, that’s ridiculous. That has to do with your system settings and how you use your phone. Period.
The “overheating issue” has been corrected by software updates, but even with mine still on 17.0.2 I don’t experience very much heat that I would ever call “overheating”— it’s more like it gets a little warm on occasion, that’s all that is.
My battery gets me through the day, the night, and the following day without charging and I play plenty of games for my battery to take a hit and it hasn’t dropped below 45% once since I got it on October 13.
The 15PM is a beautiful phone and it’s future proofed with USB-C among other nice features exclusive to it. I don’t think it’s right to misguide the OP regarding the iPhone 13PM & 15PM.
Why didn’t you mention the notorious screen issues associated with the iPhone 13 series? (White screen, flickering, and green screen) you can read about it here.
This is what I did years ago lol. It works beautifully.
Yes, you can alter the iPhone 13’s charging port to be USB-C, but it’ll be a LOT of work, extra drilling to increase the charging port size, and altering internals for… the ability to charge with USB-C? Not worth the risk for basically no benefit, you won’t get to use USB-C peripherals.
It’s a tremendous upgrade. I personally just upgraded my iPhone XS Max to an iPhone 15 Pro Max in early October and it’s amazing. The only thing you won’t have anymore is Force Touch.
So you want an iPhone that’s one color with a SIM tray that’s another color? I don’t even know if the iPhone 15’s SIM tray (outside the USA, like in the UK) is the same size and cutout as that of your iPhone 13. I wouldn’t try it just because I wouldn’t want to force it, but if you end up acquiring an iPhone 15 with a SIM tray and want to try anyway just make sure the SIM trays are the EXACT same size and shape.
Yes, it is. If your iPhone is on iOS 15.0-16.1.2 you can sideload install a “tweak” (with your Apple Account using Sideloadly app on your computer) called Cowabunga that has the option to enable Dynamic Island on ANY device. It looks best with non-not he’d devices, obviously, and is partially obstructed by the notch, so it looks best on iPhone 8 and lower. It doesn’t play well on iPads because iPadOS is not programmed to use Dynamic Island quite yet.
$800 is way overpriced for a 256GB iPhone 13 Pro Max. More like $600-650 according to average eBay prices for an unlocked 256GB iPhone 13PM in good to very good condition.
OP, did your iPhone get shot? What the fuck?!
I don’t know how you made it so long! I upgraded from my iPhone 7 Plus to an iPhone XS Max 5 years ago and then to an iPhone 15 Pro Max this year. Quite the worthy upgrade!
39 days on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and 27 cycles so far.
Very nice! I’ll definitely check this out!
The answer depends on the phone you get. MAKE SURE that the new iPhone you get has a SIM Card tray and isn’t just usable with eSIM’s. The iPhone 15 series is only compatible with eSIM’s, for example.
But then wouldn’t you have to save each photo one by one to your camera roll? (Unless you can create a shortcut that saves all images on a page to the camera roll 🤔)
