As far as arm goes, and I know it’s pricey, but the Rhode psa1+ is fantastic. Really smooth operation and a nice neoprene cover over the pinchy bits.
My only issue with it is that when it is in the stowed position it requires space behind the ‘C’ of the mounting clamp. Only an issue if you are installing on the back of a desk that is directly against a wall. I ended up moving mine to the front of the desk and no issues since.
Awesome image, this kind of stuff always makes me think about the fractal nature of the universe… Everything just seems like a bigger/smaller version of something else. All that matters is perspective.

I think it’s valid to make these kinds of decisions, in the future if there are more popular instances that end up being defeated but don’t create any obvious issues then maybe it would be best to have a community discussion or at least take into account various opinions. That’s not to say a loud minority should be catered to, and ultimately if that instance is incredibly valuable to that subset of users perhaps they can migrate to said instance or move to another that has not chosen to defederate.

Connect has some annoying quirks but overall has been pretty good.
Though not gonna lie, the Lemmy web interface isn’t really that bad either. It’s not an app to be sure, but at least it runs pretty smooth.

Part of the issue with removing the nuts (gonadal tissue?) Is that these people have major issues with bone density and other sex hormone related problems whereas the risk of cancer is similar to any male getting testicular cancer.
They aren’t given a choice because the surgery happens at a young age, yet they have to bear the medical consequences.
