Best episode of the season, but also a very atypical episode. Was that a dream sequence? I expected Dennis to slap him/punch him in the face,

Ridiculously photogenic unhoused man
In which case the laws no longer apply. Thanks Supreme Court!
The bits of them psyching each other out were the only good parts of the episode. The rest just felt like they put all the supporting characters in a room and said, this is enough.
I forgot that swipe to type was even a thing. Trying it now and it seems pretty good.
Jesus Christ that is uncomfortable. How did that make it through to the final cut of the movie? Gross.
These are stunning!!! Thank you for sharing. The tag didn’t work, I don’t know if it’s because you’re on kbin?
I can’t even imagine how deep fakes are going to proliferate, challenge the very basic concept of reality, and the impact that will have socially. It’s happening soon and it’s going to be monumental.
The legal aspect …. All of that will be painful for Judicial systems around the world to grapple with. I don’t think we are really held to the terms and conditions on half of what we sign, since it’s not really informed consent but I may be wrong on that.
I thought this episode was a shaky start. I’ve noticed that black mirror tends to fall back onto existential horror/multiple or never ending consciousness which at first was very effective but it’s starting to become expected. I enjoyed the episode and I liked “our Joan” (fictive level 1?). Smart devious and creative. Salma Hayek was okay, she’s the same in every role but it works for her
Never heard of latex pillows before. Before o looked it up I was picturing some kind of vinyl looking pillow - not comfy!
Copy and paste the link into printfriendly.com and you should be able to bypass the paywall. Will work for pretty much any site 👍
100% agree. It’s so fucked that they are stomping out 3P apps. Even with greed and profit as the only motivation, financially it would have made more sense to charge reasonable API fees than die on this hill. I would happily pay for Apollo if it was necessary to keep it running.
That is adorable!
Thanks for linking that! I really enjoyed it.
