Seems like a great reuse for a new selfhost style community using lemmy/kbin. How much are you asking for it, or willing to part for it?

Take a look at these guides. They explain a lot as well about Kbin
I’ve been using linux for a long time. Typically stuck with Ubuntu and upgrading when the next LTS was released. I did try other flavors like ubuntu budgie as well. Also liked ZorinOS for a year or two.
Then things like elementary were fun to use, but for a daily driver, I like a little more main stream OS and desktop experience.
Currently using Fedora cinnamon for the last year. I have some VMs that probably stay the longest, but for my personal laptop, I usually spend a year or two on it.
For basic word processing and excel like items I’ve used it and recommend it for others. Especially when I’m on my Linux desktop. I’ve used it for some small businesses as well so they could open and send files for work.
Ubuntu and debian based distros have been a long time favorite. Recently switched to Fedora and the Cinnamon desktop. It has a nice feel and user experience as well.
What is difficult now is the base OS to choose, but also the desktop experience. I think the desktop choice is also what makes the Linux experience and distro choice for people these days.
