I’m so smart because I can see flaws with my country. So much better than all those normies.

I don’t understand. How is Lemmy not a form of social media?
“Please use at least 3 sentences”. I can’t even.
Because it’s fashionable and people are trying to be edgy
Great idea for a community
Not to divert too much from your point, but Reddit was a progressive and intelligent community? Thanks for the laugh haha
Something happens. Let’s make it about America!
Right? I really wanted to leave midway but my friends were there too. I’m a big fan of surrealist literature but that movie just couldn’t do it for me.
Is that it? I definitely do it in the bathroom when nobody else is around multiple times a day.
I don’t think people should drive for the simple reason that for most of history, we never experienced traveling at such high speeds. We don’t have the reaction time required to handle that, especially when the stakes are so high.
For convenience, yes. I can’t come up with and remember a different password for each different website.
Unfortunately this might not be something from Reddit. It could be universal to all human communities. People want to feel that they are in the right but not be questioned, when countering opposing arguments is the way to truth.
to to something
to do something

Is there a way to to something like this for Lemmy? This is one thing that I used all the time for Reddit and found immensely useful.
Super interesting article. Thanks for sharing.
It’s not what you’re asking but I figured to offer my thoughts on Anki to make the community more active.
I think Anki is a tool that can be effective but is not an absolute necessity. Personally, I find Anki reviews to be torturous and has always been the worst part of my routine, to the point of putting me off learning entirely. I’ve replaced Anki and all other forms of vocab review with extensive reading for a few years now, and am having a much more enjoyable time and don’t find my progress to be hindered. Anki is probably good to drill in the first couple hundred words, but don’t fall into the trap of using it religiously and making language learning a chore.
Thank you for all your hard work!
Only “sometimes”? I think it’s more like “always”.
Yes, but not to the extent of redditors.
It’s probably the best subscription I have for the price, so I don’t really mind a small increase.
