Nothing specific, we use onions in so many things! Will chop and freeze the bulk of them.
All I can remember is they were supposed to be red shallots. But ended up with giant white onions by mistake!

I’m not really sure of the ‘correct’ way, but I pull them when they are almost popping out of the ground and look good enough to use. Not very scientific, I know.
These onions had more growing to do, accidentally bought giant sets! But it was getting tight in my raised bed.
