Fucking hell…
We had the same arguments in the U.K. during the referendum to drop FPTP. Strangely, the people making those arguments on Reddit all disappeared the day after the vote. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I am convinced that was Russia!s proof-of-concept for what would become their information warfare against democracy.
OP, you are most likely genuine and good meaning, but understand that Russia, China, and many other bad actors want you to keep FPTP because it’s so much easier for them to manipulate elections. Any argument against change, even if said change is not perfect, is in their favour.
Yeah… I’ve very mixed feelings about this. On paper, wikileaks was a force for good, but it got taken over by far right/Russian assets.

The best vegan recipes are indian. You can certainly eat well as a vegetarian in London, but most places will have an indian restaurant with a few veggie choices.
The version of Richard III staring Ian McKellen is great. The opening scene is a chilling depiction of facism.
It’s a front to fund Trump’s political career. The people funding it are not expecting any other return on their investment than political power.

I am a long-time Tumbleweed user. It’s the most stable rolling release distro I’ve tried, so if you want that latest software, it’s a great choice. I’ve not tried MicroOS yet, so I can’t comment on that.
Be careful of the Monkey’s Paw - Reform in opposition may mean Reform in power in 10-15 years. The collapse of the Torries is for sure nice to see, but much of that voting block is moving right, not left, and that scares me.
it is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want for a wife.

I dunno, having the same music taste seems like a good starting point at least.
I will be very disappointed if this owl isn’t on the owl-of-the-year competition.
I’ve taken too many trips to count between London and Paris, Marseille, Lille and Brussels. Extremely convenient way to get to France, and SNCF trains are crazy fast. Oh, and I did a trip from Berlin to Paris a few years back. It was kind of interesting - as soon as you were on French track, the train accelerated fast enough to push you back on your seat!
Speaking as a Gen X with a guitar… it was all about synthpop, rave and industrial. Who needed guitars in the 80s/90s anyway?

That’s also a good thing - eating less milk and beef is also good for the environment. Less demand means fewer cows, means fewer cow farts…
