I didn’t read all of that, but the Fallout games are my favorite. I even loved 76, because once you get past the online elements, lack of choices, and lack of NPCs, it has some of the best exploration and environmental storytelling of any game I’ve played. These are the terminals, holotapes, notes, etc… I found it more immersive than FO4, which forces you to play a voiced character with a minimalistic dialogue system.
A big issue with Starfield is that the exploration is repetitive, with repeating locations that have no story to them at all.
