So you can manually put your laundry inside it, go to your bed and tell the machine to wash it like you didn’t had to get up to put your laundry inside it.
Of course, that’s a good reminder! But according to my dog’s vet, it shouldn’t be a problem if done cautious, not frequently, not going deep and with a gauze around your finger. She do it sometimes including to see if there’s anything causing the itch by the color left on the gauze.
EDIT: I’m not a vet, so if I’m wrong, someone please correct me! Just saying this according to what my dog’s vet said.
For sure guinea pigs would evolve into capybaras
Since you mentioned “forum days”, I’m still wondering when did we decided we should get rid of those blinking gifs with our usernames we used as a signature for every post! I hate them, but I also miss them…
Oh, I tried to say that I can see and even follow this Threads account, so probably Kbin is still federated! Sorry if it wasn’t clear
Well, if you’re right, Kbin looks to not have defederated Threads
Is there any way for me to know if a Kbin instance also blocked Threads?
do what you love and you will never work a day love anything in your life
I had the same thoughts when my dentist suggested it, but fortunately nowadays we have more choices for doing it.
I don’t know where you live and how much you can expend in it, but I’ve decided to use these removable invisible aligners (like Invisalign) and had no regrets. They’re faster to do their job, more trustable to get the alignment you need and, well, they’re not too visible as regular braces.
As other people said, correcting your teeth is something you will enjoy for the rest of your life. So, if you can afford invisible aligners and can follow their instructions (like using them for 20h per day, regularly brushing your teeth etc), I totally recommend going this way.
Besides what method you’ll choose, remember that everyone of them is temporary and you’ll be really happy with the results in the near future. I get the concern about what other people will think, but you should remember you’re doing something for you and to feel happier with yourself! :)
That’s exactly my point, specially because when I started making my daily planner for work it helped a lot with my ADHD, so the point is to find something to help even more! Thank you very much!
Kind of confused by wanting handwriting recognition while not using a pen? Are you writing with your finger?
Hahahaha you have a good point and I’m sorry I didn’t explained that before! For now, yes, I’m writing with my finger!
I’m taking a look to see if I’ll get used to taking notes and planning my day with my tablet before expending money in a pen that I’d only use for this.
Also, thanks for the recommendation! I tried Good Notes but I think the handwriting recognition is a paid feature. I will take a look if there’s a trial!
Oh, thanks for showing the other side! Like always, things are not just black and white.
I have never heard about Melroy before, but I was scared by the last comment. It’s nice to hear that there are nice people working on this branch :)

That makes sense!
For my basic knowledge working side by side with a lot of devs, I totally agree with the way Ernest thinks. It’s essential for a product that’s growing up to have a solid core that will not need to be rewrote in the near future.
But also, as an user, I keep wishing we could see more features, like the API for mobile apps.
I mean, besides what Ernest and Melroy thinks that’s the right way, there’s also what the users need, what the users want and what the project needs to escalate (new features vs core rewriting). And probably there’s not a right answer for that.
Honest question: what’s the reason to make a fork instead of contributing do kbin itself?
Thanks for explaining!
Now I know it’s almost like they’re asking for me to uninstall their app!
Same here! Many years ago I paid for a lifetime subscription and I really don’t regret it (but only because it was an one-time payment for life).
Watch out, he’s going to virtually punch you until you upvote his comment, like a real man would do
I hope Ernest gets well soon and can pass through all of these stuff, but I must add one point to this:
And, as important as this, letting more people help with Kbin development.
It’s impossible to maintain the code and develop new features, while dealing with all his personal life problems (which of course are a priority) and maintaining the instance all at once and almost alone.
Why not getting some help? I know that Ernest already said he has a problem trusting people, but come on, it’s visible that this approach is not working and it’s not benefiting anyone.
