Maybe if the US and other countries didn’t put a 100% tariff on Chinese EVs…

Wtf is it with white people and raw milk?
I have watched it off and on since it first aired and I can’t remember ever seeing Trump. In fairness I haven’t watched much the last couple years.
Mr. Garrison isn’t Trump, no matter how much they nod and wink.
Obama wasn’t portrayed by another character and neither was Bush and neither was Clinton.
Did they ever actually show Trump? Or was it bs Garrison as Trump?

Looked out of curiosity and seems the answer is no. Also, they literally said they were scared to make fun of him.

They’re such wusses.
During W’s reign they used kid gloves. Always been like that with conservatives.
Dogs eat cat poop like it’s candy
Why is something as vital if not more vital than US Mail left to scummy private companies?
We’re well into the 21st century. Many businesses will direct you to their website when you call in.
Having affordable internet access is not a luxury it’s a necessity.
It’s petty third world mindset to allow these rent seekers to continue to profit off of awful service. Especially when they actively seek to block municipalities from setting up their own ISPs.
I honestly would get one if I could afford it.
It is significantly more. I mean, it’s one of those things that isn’t that much more in the scheme of things, but when you’re scrambling to replace a roof, it’s a lot.
I paid $8k for a new roof a few years back. I got estimates. Metal would have been about twice as much.
Hard to justify when a decent shingle lasts 15-20 years.
Doesn’t film have a definition roughly equivalent to 2K?
Not sure why they didn’t just do a digital transfer to 2K.
You literally cannot imagine the doses of oxytocin and dopamine when your kid looks you in the eyes and smiles for the first time. All the wonderful moments are like a goddamn fix.
It’s literally the only reason (most) parents don’t murder their kids when they’re being shitty little assholes.
But seriously, you simply don’t realize how heady a hit of emotional bonding-feel good cocktail it is until it happens to you.
And this is coming from someone who spent half the 90s candy flipping.
This sounds so cruel and dystopian.
Surge pricing is just another name for price gouging.
I wonder if she calls him “one of the good ones”.
Literally why the world is ending due to climate change.
The wealthy know we’re heading off a cliff, but they’d rather keep the system and frantically build bunkers and buy up farmland than change course. Doing so would mean giving up the system protecting their wealth.
They’d rather let the world burn.
Western brands in general are losing market share in China.
All these companies that outsourced in the 90s and 00s are having their chickens come home to roost.
As a Lebanese born immigrant to the US, the whole “Southern Lebanon, southern Beirut” thing is peak spin.
There is no Southern Lebanon. The country is tiny.
Just say Lebanon just say, Beirut .
I stopped using Adobe products when they went to a cloud based model.
Any professional software that’s subscription based is a nightmare.
This is what happens when science is done by governments and companies dedicated to the end result.
ITER and so many other projects are littered with graft and hampered by corruption and uninterested governments.
If China can build a reactor with a Q of 10, it’s game over. The west is already getting lapped on solar and EV’s.
We’re gonna be a backwater with a bunch of bombs. Buckle up y’all.
Full on Gen X. All we HAD was arcades. I mean… the non-arcade versions of games like Pac-Man and Space Invaders was pretty janky.
Some of my fondest memories are spending Saturday afternoons at the arcade, back when $20 in quarters could last.
So many great games! First game I could ever finish was called Space Harrier. I figured out the pattern and could finish the game on a few quarters.
I admit I was sad when arcades started to shutter.
I’m almost finished reading it. So far, it’s the best translation of the Odyssey that I’ve ever read. The language is more accessible and modern and it flows and reads much more like a novel.
I minored in classic civ in college and have read 2 other versions of the Odyssey previously. She did a great job.
