Texting images between android and ios is fundamentally broken. Images are compressed to potato quality and did mot always make it. When i had android i sent images in messenger and texted in sms to ios folks. Its a lot easier now were all on ios.

So I absolutely understand its simpler to just 100% use a different app.

Why would they make an Android phone? That seems like a huge burden without a reward. Also phones are not a place people buy premium games.

A little warning: the site owners on lemmy could be doing many malicious things. The simplest is the ability to drop trackers in the sites header section. However they could have dns based trackers that are invisible to end users. And thats just tracking so far. The only reason we know facebook is a slime bag is years and years of leaks.

Pretty weak show of confidence against Meta. I feel like the fediverse will become a collection if defederated sites with how quick everyone is to defederate.
