1 year agoMaybe. Can you change the TV volume if you put your hand in front of the Apple Remote? If you can then probably yes.
If not then you are using the IR emitter on the remote.

Highly doubt it will make a difference.
C2 is a relatively new oled model and the processors in the LG oleds are robust. You should be able to stream 4k on Disney or Netflix with zero issues.
I have a LG C9 which is from 2019. It plays 4k steaming just fine (wired or wireless). I have an Apple TV 2022 connected to it and the streaming quality is the same time to me. The main reason I bought the Apple TV is for a home hub for HomeKit.
I would check your internet and local network speed. A simple test to test local is to disconnect the wired Ethernet and connect wifi.
