I’ve just worked out why I have that cable. It’s for connecting a GameCube to a modern TV. That is, it was a modern TV the last time I used it, but now it’s an ancient TV and has been replaced, and the new one doesn’t have a VGA port either, so it’s kind of useless basically.
I have plenty of duplicate cables. Pretty sure I don’t need all of them so I can throw out most of them and just keep one of each.
Pretty sure I don’t need a SCART to VGA cable but doesn’t take that much space up.
Haven’t you heard? SCART and VGA are going to have a major comeback in the 2030s.
If you have an old tv (like my grandma), you might be able to add more adapters and attach newer hardware.
