    That’s largely down to the way search engines, especially Google (who now have an AI deal with Reddit, so an incentive to push people there), promote Reddit answers.

    Also Lemmy hasn’t been around as long, so doesn’t have the same depth of the knowledge base but it isn’t short on techie users. If you don’t need an instant answer then ask here and you will probably get an answer pretty quickly. Plus you will help expand the depository of answers here.
