Is this a way of saying Israel is committing genocide without saying it?

I don’t think it is since Israel is far from the only country at war right now.

Unless you think every war is a genocide, which I guess is arguable.

No, but I think it’s the main one with civilians on the front line. I’m assuming “women” is a proxy for civilians, and the article isn’t talking about women in fighting forces.

Sorry… you don’t think the wars in Ukraine and Syria aren’t killing a bunch of women and children?

These are all the current armed conflicts. Do you honestly think that Israel is the one that makes up all of those civilian deaths?

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ongoing_armed_conflicts

I mean obviously Israel is conducting a genocide. There’s no argument there. There are also other groups conducting genocides right now, including Russia.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_genocides

Edit: If you look at that list, you’ll see that the ongoing genocide in Darfur that everyone ignores has killed far more people than Israel has so far.

Not what I said. However I expect the ratio in Gaza is higher as people can’t be evacuated, hence “civilians on the front line”.

You’re right that all those other conflicts need as much exposure. I’m not going to argue there.

Okay, I’m not sure what you mean by ‘civilians on the front line.’ Where do you think the majority of all the other civilians in the other wars are killed? It’s not away from the fighting.

You say those conflicts need more exposure and yet, for some reason, you’re pretending they don’t also have massive civilian casualties.

Also, this is not just about death or even wounding. As the headline says, this is about how it affects them. That includes things like sexual assault, something that is happening constantly in Darfur and to huge numbers of both women and children. If you had bothered to read the article, you would have read this part:

U.N.-verified cases of conflict-related sexual violence were 50%
