    Pro tip from someone who’s been driving manual for 30+ years: the throttle isn’t a switch. You can just press it a bit. You don’t need to redline every shift.

      Mate you don’t have to talk down to me. I used to own a hybrid; I’ve mastered the art of throttle control to keep the engine from kicking in so I could run on battery power for longer periods of time.

      Furthermore, this car has 300bhp; if redlined every shift, I’d be flying down the street. I rarely shift above 2500RPM.

      You may think you’re trying to help, but you’re just being condescending. Please knock it off. And take a Z for a test drive sometime. Then and only then will you understand where I’m coming from.
