    I feel like it’s safe to assume that 99% it’s our culture. Of course, not that a particular person cannot have genuine preferences that align with the societal norms but on the scale of the whole population, it is obvious that our preferences are the results of our culture.

    I remember, there was a study saying that children don’t have colour preference according to gender standards until certain age when they have been indoctrinated by our society that blue is for boys and pink for girls.
