“Hearing that the electric vehicle bubble is bursting with orders dropping exponentially. People are waking up to the scam 🙌”

In response to an article saying EVs now make up 30% of new registrations, he’s saying it’s all over for EVs.

I leave the tabloids in my newsfeed to ensure I get a rounded picture of things and what amazes me is the consistent anti-EV rhetoric from all the right wing papers. It’s a constant background chipping away at it with stories about people buying EVs and hating them, so they go back to the gas guzzlers. If you only read the Express, Daily Fail or Scum then you’d definitely be under the impression that EVs are pretty much DOA.

yeah and in that sense it comes down to who do you trust when you have no idea about a subject. Ive had nothing but positives about EVs for many years, i dont have any issues and the main complaints I regard as trivial or frequently daft. But do I own a large newspaper group? Theres a drumbeat which my elderly neighbours can hear, people they trust tell them they can get electrocuted in heavy rain and its an easy decision after that

I see the same thing (same motivation). I got a 19 plate Leaf a few months back, it’s feckin awesome and anecdotes and data all point to “EV Good, and getting better”. It’s mental.
