Unless, of course, your plan is to draw Iran into a wider war. Which is what both Israel and the neocons have been gagging for, for years

You get the shorter version of the answer I gave to the other person. The longer version might be relevant later.

If Israel is committing genocide (which is not), it’s the worst implementation of such policy. They could kill hundreds of thousands of people in a few days, and that never happened.

Also, you conveniently forgot to mention Hamas’ massacres on October 7th. That’s the only reason for the ground invasion.

The ones in power sure are. They’re literally on a genocide spree right now killing tens of thousands of civilians indiscriminately for the crime of not being born Jewish.

It’s clear to me, based on what you’ve said, that you know nothing about Israelis (Arab and Jews), Jewish culture and history, Israeli politics (foreign and internal) and Middle East geopolitics.

How come you write with such confidence about something you know nothing about?

Dude they want plausible deniability, they want to have no responsibility in doing so. It’s pretty obvious what Israels goal is and has been for the last decades. Steal land, just look at the west bank or even a map.

You’ve been brainwashed by your own government to support Israel in it’s crime spree.

Do you get paid per argument?

All the things I’ve mentioned are relevant. Many people are talking out of their asses without knowing anything about this conflict. They don’t make the minimum effort to learn the basic things, they just follow the mob and reuse their words without understanding any of it. Some Israelis do it, some westerners do it, some arabs do it.
And all of these useful idiots are being manipulated by Islamists, radical left people, white supremacists.

                You didn’t address this point.

If Israel is committing genocide (which is not), it’s the worst implementation of such policy. They could kill hundreds of thousands of people in a few days, and that never happened.

This is also relevant to you. You haven’t established any knowledge about any of those issues.

It’s clear to me, based on what you’ve said, that you know nothing about Israelis (Arab and Jews), Jewish culture and history, Israeli politics (foreign and internal) and Middle East geopolitics.

It is correct that 2 wrongs doesn’t make a right. And you still haven’t demonstrated that there are massacres or a genocide in Gaza committed by the IDF.

the attack on Oct 7 does not give anyone the right to commit their own massacre or genocide.

It’s common knowledge at this point that they are doing a genocide. The the words of the ICJ Israel should do everything to stop doing one

                  https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-68097640

                  https://www.icj-cij.org/sites/default/files/case-related/192/192-20240126-ord-01-00-en.pdf

The Court considers that, with regard to the situation described above, Israel must, in accordance with its obligations under the Genocide Convention, in relation to Palestinians in Gaza, take all measures within its power to prevent the commission of all acts within the scope of Article II of this Convention, in particular: (a) killing members of the group; (b) causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; © deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; and (d) imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group. The Court recalls that these acts fall within the scope of Article II of the Convention when they are committed with the intent to destroy in whole or in part a group as such (see paragraph 44 above). The Court further considers that Israel must ensure with immediate effect that its military forces do not commit any of the above-described act

Excuse me, can you even read? Please cite a direct quote from the ICJ ruling that clearly states that Israel is committing a genocide. Can you do it? Of course not, because they never did.

This is what countries with nukes can do to countries without nukes. Thankfully no jihadistic countries have them yet, but Israel sure is giving them good reasons to get some.

They annually call for the destruction of Israel and burn an israeli flag. I wouldn’t put too much thought into their statements.

Also, keep in mind that “foreign soil” is a country that Israel is still technically at war with.

What would really happen is that they will get one of their proxies to fire more rockets or commit more terrorist attacks on Israel.

Here’s yesterday’s UN release regarding discussion of the event. “In the ensuing discussion, many delegations asserted that any attack on diplomatic and consular premises violates the Charter of the United Nations as well as the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations. They also expressed grave concern that such an incident could further intensify the regional conflict.”

Then the usual countries supported/condemned Israel, but even those supporting Israel didn’t say it was ok to bomb embassies.

Yes. Largely by the same countries who also insist Israel is conducting their war legally, but I won’t try to say their points are bad. I agree with criticizing Iran, but bombing embassies is not ok by international agreement. If rules of war only apply when convenient then they are useless, diplomatic immunity is a thing and consulates are not supposed to be targets of war.

Also, switch countries - imagine if North Korea bombed the US embassy in South Korea and killed visiting Pentagon generals. The outrage would be immense and it’s unlikely the world would accept the justification that North and South Korea are “technically at war” with each other and the US opposes North Korea.

Is that meant as a defense of Israel or…? What am I supposed to take from that aside from Israel should stop doing unethical things so regularly that even North Korea doesn’t get reprimanded as often? I’ll remind you in turn that North Korea didn’t -actually- bomb an embassy (so a condemnation wouldn’t make sense) - feel free to swap the countries in my comment to whichever you want. That was an analogy to showcase how if it wasn’t America’s lovechild breaking international law no one would even consider justifying it. It was also a direct rebuttal to your prior “they’re technically at war so it’s ok” argument. Israel actually did bomb an embassy of one country within the borders of another country.
