Yeah it really can’t be overstated how dangerous they are, 6/6 of the motorcycle riders I know have been in hospital for injuries sustained while riding, two of which were permanent (a limp and back pain). Part of that is the dominance of cars but I don’t see that changing any time soon. And if we need dedicated infrastructure, we might as well just go straight to cycling.
