I tried Stashapp and it seems neat but would just be a huge uphill battle to actually label and tag everything
The Tagger tool built into Stash, connected to stashdb, makes it pretty easy to label and tag your content.
unraid is a nice NAS platform that will gro with your needs and is easy to set up on old hardware if you have an old tower pc gathering dust. I recently installed Stashapp and yes I was disappointed by the tagging system where you cant seem to even tag a whole folder (say for a photoset) and can only tag a pic at a time.
If you connect it to a stash-box instance, like StashDB, it will automatically label and tag most of your library using hashes.
At least for my own part I don’t often like to fap to the same content twice, so saving is mostly pointless.
Maybe its because I had bad internet for so many years but I’ve always been a bit of a hoarder.
For NSFW content, I call myself a whoreder.

Offline storage. About 7TB.
Most pics are doujins and hentai but they only make up about 80-100GB the vast majority is Porn movies. Some collections I found take up the most (Remy Lacroix Jynx Maze are huge)Also I have some AI models they also use quite a bit of space. I used to have them on an external drive but have since installed another internal one and consolidated everything to an encrypted drive since I will be moving countries.
I am looking for a web app that can be hosted with docker. Especially for AI stuff I make.
As for storage I have a couple hard drives that I pool together with ZFS with native compression.
I guess I don’t have as much porn as the rest of y’all.
I organize and save everything on a gallery hiding app on my Android phone. It’s ~23GB. I compress all my images and videos, and clean up a few times a year. I also only save the best of the best, so 🤷♂️.
In the past I saved the files and stored them on a NAS. But organising the files started to become more effort than it was worth, given I very rarely viewed the saved files.
Now I just use a separate browser profile. I keep a few pages bookmarked, but most of the time I’d rather view something new.
Moving away from saving files freed up a load of time and storage for me. There’s a risk any bookmarked content will get taken down. But there’s always more, and better, porn out there.
I have loads of stuff saved on my NAS. Far too often I’d try to return to some picture, h-doujin or video but find it deleted, remember Pornhub? I use Komga for my h-doujins and Stash for my pictures and videos although I don’t actually use Stash that much.
Lots of local accumulated over the years. Only images though. Saved the whole leak of all the Playboy centerfolds from a couple years ago. Not really fap-able material but interesting, especially fascinating to look at trends over the years. A collection of some patreon art, lots of NSFW but again not really fap material.
Some bookmarks, mostly for formats that don’t save well (giphy links, some videos). Had a lot of saved links on an alt account on reddit but they’ve overwhelmingly stopped working. I tried combing through and getting whatever I could.
Storage, in multiple external drives. Lately, I have downloaded waaay more than I watch, and I don’t even know yet how to organize it as I have zero clue on what is stored in which drive and it’s just too much to handle for me.
I used to just store the links in reddit e.g. upvote or save other posts with the urls. Buuuut now I hope to get something similar with lemmy ^^
So far, jellyfin is my way to organize my porn. I know, their are a lot of other selfhosting solutions as well. My reason to choose jellyfin was that it is opensource, easy to organize after installation and easy to set up. https://jellyfin.org
I tried it once. Wasn’t my cup of tea personally. I’m fairly organized by folder. Way back on the iphone before all the plexes and jellyfins, and everything sombody made an app that was fantastic at just browsing the folders then steaming to you phone. I kind of miss that.
Thats an interesting point of view, since it was my reason to stay with jellyfin. Ive created a nsfw folder and browse the subfolder organized by genre to choose. Better is the enemy of good. So I will see what’s comming in future.
Maybe I should give jellyfin another look.
Try Stash, it’s literally made to hold your porn collection
Unlimited Google Drive, connected to server via rclone, holds the bulk of my collection. Some favorites are held locally on a Unraid server.
Be aware that google scans their drive for porn and may delete it, or your account or, if it looks like there is someone underage, reports it and blocks your account.
I thought google killed off unlimited.
Unlimited storage on My Drive is dead but Team Drives still don’t have an enforced storage limit.
I’m aware that the days are numbered but plan to keep milking it until then. 180 TB and growing, I’ll have to either get rid of some unwanted content or spend a ton of money on hard drives.
