My daughter goes back to school on Tuesday, and as much as it’s been nice having her around the house, I can’t wait.
I’m mourning having to start carpool duties again.
Surely you’re not expected to do it all year round?

Ahh yes. My 5 year old has just discovered Minecraft and whilst it’s genuinely fascinating to watch her figure things out…there’s barely a moment goes by where she’s not asking me to ‘look at this’ or ‘can you do this?’.
My youngest hogs the front room all day literally, so my wife and I have watched pretty much nothing because of the interruptions. I’ve barely been gaming either because I’m too tired in the evening to stay up late.
My eldest has been doing nothing but pc gaming, so his body clock is screwed. He’s going to bed at 5am and gets up finally around 3pm after we keep telling him to get up.
Both boys are autistic, so it’s been really hard trying to get them to do anything else. We’ll both be glad when school starts again to get everything back into a normal routine.
