Review for Cannon Spike on Dreamcast.
Taken from Dreamcast Magazine 31 - January 2001 (UK)
While Cannon Spike is one of the lesser Psikyo games for me personally, I still feel that this score is way too harsh.
I’d give it an easy 70% at the very least.

I saw Cannon Spike on RetroAchievements listing, and I must admit, I’m super curious about this one. It’s definitely on my list to play!
So I will be checking out this review to get an idea what I might be in for! 😂

It’s a strange one for sure.
It eluded me for the longest time, but I finally picked up a Japanese copy in 2019. Wasn’t cheap…
It plays a little like Zero Gunner 2 with the twisting and turning, but doesn’t reach that games heights sadly.
It’s incredibly hard, which give it a really rough first impression.
But it has a very unique charm of its own if you can get past that.
Really glad I was able to pick up a copy as I love Psikyo, despite a few big misses they had.
