Even if Cuba turned capitalist, it wouldn’t help their current situation. The US wants full submission, like how it was Pre-1959. Even then, the US would not help at all.
The only thing that would change would be American companies getting to open hotels and casinos again, at which Cubans would be employed for less than they’re making now.
It would be a tragedy if these sanctions resulted in what the US has wanted for so long.
