I feel that way about all of the older ones I watch. Just saw A Nightmare On Elm St tonight, and I can see how it would have been terrifying in the '80’s, but it did nothing for me.
It was terrifying in the 80s! So was Alien. (Mind you, I was a teenager when I saw them). I found Event Horizon scary in the 90s, but not so much now.
