The original issue turned out to be a faulty power supply. While I wait for those fuses to come in figured I would replace the board caps and add the GEM.

No problem. Also also leave this video here as well. It goes over the N64Digital install, which the soldering steps are exactly the same as the Gem. It’s a great resource for anyone looking to get into this type of soldering work.
