@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games I remember the first time I laid eyes upon house of the dead in the arcades as a kid and being so scared yet unable to take my eyes away from it.
Wasn’t until 2011 on a ferry to Normandy where I saw it again on the second floor and finally tried it.Still need to buy the first two on Dreamcast; then I plan to get this one as well, you can never have too many light gun games.
I just wish they’d make a good modern way to play them, like what the PlayStation Move could’ve been.

It’s actually one of the games that I was lucky enough to play in the arcade, well the original at least.
The only arcades I know of were around the beach. Not even sure if they still exist…That’s where I discovered Puzzle de Pon! As well. 😊
If you’re looking for a terrific light gun game, check out Ghost Squad on Wii. It’s one of the best.
@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games Funny enough I think I saw Ghost Squad in CeX the other day when they had their “spooky sales” section up alongside other Wii titles fit for Halloween like Resi Evil 4, I’ll be sure to grab that one if it’s still there next time I go.
As for arcades though, same here. The only arcades were always near the beach, the closest things we had locally were computer cafés and such. I always wondered why they were so far out as a kid.

I’m a little under the weather this week as I’m a bit sick. perhaps the flu or something.
So I read that wrong and thought to myself “what’s so scary about Wii Fit???” at first. 😂@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games @BigBlue@geekdom.social “What’s so scary about Wii Fit???” Put an alphabet on the balance board, now it’s a Wii-ja board. flees
