If I’m standing there doing trade work let’s say, why do people think it’s ok to just stand there and watch me?

If you’re sitting there at your desk clacking away on your excel spreadsheet or whatever, and I saunter up behind you and just stare at you doing work, that would be considered kinda creepy.

I’m listening the “The Nightland” by WH Hodgeson. Don’t know if I can stand the bondage and very sexual double entendres much longer. 🫤 I thought this was hard core science fiction gothic fiction. 🫥🤯😹

They are quite long slightly weird involved chapters that seem to be perfectly paced and timed to rub one out …lol

" and she did rub me very skillful and gentle for a great hour until I was all refreshed and in verity she was a lovely wise maid. And surely when I was come again …etc etc"

How very Shakespearean country matters. I’m all in for some good smut, but stuff written circuitously to avoid the censors doesn’t do it at all. No horny hobbits.

other than the weird daddy mommy issues, the he-man stuff, the helpless delicate female stuff , the bondage stuff and the weird language, and these are only a few chapters so far out of many chapters

other than that it’s a great story well told

( written in 1913 it predates Howard /Conan the Barbarian by 20 years )

"But I was greatly stiff on my waking … " …lol

what it makes much funnier for me is that this guy has the same voice and accent as Peter Cook.

Are people going through keyboards/mice like some sort of consumables?
I’m looking at reviews for a mouse, and something supposedly good about it is that it lasted some person four whole years. I’ve been using the mouse on my work PC for 15 years, it was the first Bluetooth mouse I purchased. I’ve been using this keyboard for 10 years, and the only reason I bought it was that I was no longer typing on my laptop keyboard. Side note: I would love to buy another one just like this one for home, but it doesn’t exist any more.

10 years with no signs of slowing in the next decade sounds right to me. 15 years for the mouse and the only reason I’m considering replacing it is I’d like one that can switch between multiple devices and maybe do away with AA batteries. Do people really go through peripherals quickly?

My Logitech mx518 was one of the best mouse that I had for work and home.

It wasn’t until a dumb cleaner used cleaning agents on it during covid that they ruined the texture and finish on the mouse. I’m still mad about it but they last forever and have all the convenient buttons like thumb buttons and scrolling wheel.

I still have one in it’s packaging because I thought they were so good.

Neighbour’s car won’t start (sounds like a flat batter to me). It’s a late 90s Commodore that’s seen better day.

Old mate is swearing like a sailor in English and Croatian. Been going on for like a solid 30 minutes.

Ironically he fancies himself a handyman, and even my non-mechanical self can hear it’s the battery.

I ate at Yaki Jin in Kew this week. They do an all you can eat for $50. I like that their menu is not OTT, but pretty much has all the staples.

Meating in the CBD is similar, it because it’s more buffet style I always want to eat eeevvvrrrything, if I’m a little ambivalent about it.

Thinking I really dig Yaki Jin because I want to eat there again, like now. Hahaha.

TV Review. Paul T Goldman. Series. Stan.

This was really weird, like the weirdest thing I have seen for a while.

A misogynistic anti-social personality disordered man is prey to a con woman . He goes on the war path and his fragile ego leads him to invent a huge international organised crime conspiracy rather than saying to himself, “I was a foolish idiot and got ripped off because I am a hater who will believe anyone who panders to my prejudices”. And then he write books and a screenplay, makes himself to be James Bond. He becomes a bit pathetic and it’s more and more obvious he is not all there.

The last half hour is like that episode of Married With Children where the Bundys try to sell a story and the tv producers see through them easily.

It’s easy to pity Paul, the disordered are often pitied because it is so obvious they are broken, until you remember he stalked people and slandered people causing real harm. He saved no one.

hobbits?? as a portrait of a personality disordered person, 4 hobbits

I watched this a few weeks ago and my thoughts were exactly the same as yours. It’s like he didn’t want his story to end and the production company thought “fuck it. We’re getting paid for this shit regardless”.

      5/5 hobbits for weirdness.

This is what you get when a personality disordered person writes the story. A story that is hard to comprehend.

The last 30 minutes are when reality lands as the producer tells the real fact based story with actual proof.

I don’t think I got to the end cos I thought it went on too long as it was. Maybe I should finish it.

These are my thoughts: Wife #1 wanted a Green card and not to be a stay at home maid to a controlling, pedantic, weird little man.

He makes out that this could happen to anyone with wife #2 but shit there was red flags flapping loudly with her. No dude, you just an idiot.

If you don’t mind something comedy drama instead, “The Intern” on repeat works.

Or you can just watch The Great British Bake Off, even when the contestants go there’s nothing but love and adoration. They cry cus they’re losing being able to spend all day with their new best friends.

Then try the British Bake Off, must be the British one. The only editing is in the order they present their bakes.

So much piss taking and if it were on the sports channel it would be like “we’ve scored some goals and you haven’t scored enough so I’m gonna stop scoring my goals and come help you score some more so you can win too”. It might as well be a comedy and friendship show at this point that also happens to include baking.

I’m a big fan of the The Rookie because of Nathan Fillion. I

haven’t seen Firefly but as I understand it didn’t have many episodes and was cut short ending with the movie Serenity which I have seen.

Have watched all of it and waiting for the new a season now.

Resident alien not so much. Didn’t quite hit the right notes with me.

I’ve just put on Castlevania now waiting for the cricket to be on an a little over an hour.

Core Keeper’s addictive and time just flies when playing it.

I’m might start fresh in Starview Valley because the final content patch has landed.
