When I see the number of unnecessary SUVs on the road in URBAN areas it’s hard to take Australia’s alleged concern over climate change seriously.

Likewise. And not just little RAV 4s and the like, I’m talking sodding huge ones that look like they’ve never been off bitumen.

I actually see more of those things in bloody bayside than I do when visiting family up in the high country or over in leogatha. Friggin’ madness. What happened to the cunce all driving shiny mercs and shit.

Correct. If they insist on having an expensive car, at least be physically proportional to their needs.

I work sort of near bayside. I’ve seen the new model of Defender on the roads.

Bloody oath they’re massive and bigger than most of the SUVs I see.

It’s really getting silly now. They’ll be taller than trucks soon.

The easy way to spot them is the wheels. If they are low profile road tyres they are most likely not doing anything off-road. You can’t judge by them not having dirt on them though as lots of people actually take care of their car and wash it after off-roading as they are expensive.
