The Rugby Football Union (RFU) has thrown its weight behind American rugby star Ilona Maher, supporting her visa application to play in this season’s Premiership Women’s Rugby.

This would be pretty awesome. It will be good to grow the game further, however I’m disappointed in the Americans lack of support for her to move back to 15s.
