This is super interesting. BYD are looking like they’ll be a household name for the next generation.
I mean, it’s cool - but why are BYD seemingly creating a new brand for every other range they produce?
I’ve got friends that have BYD cars and I’m starting to see their brand building up - but if someone asked me if I wanted to buy a Denza, or a Yangwang, or in the case a Fang Cheng Bao Super9 - I’d be convinced it was a HYRTLL Amazon style brand name fuckery.
The Yangwang U9 does look amazing mind.
I hadn’t heard of the subsidiaries. You can see the design language though.
BYD are already a household name where I live, the majority of electric ubers are BYD and they’re an extremely prolific electric car brand here.
