I’m certainly not unique in this regard, but I had a chuckle to myself the other day when an argument on another platform ended up with a direct message from the other person, accompanied with a death threat.

It had been a blunt but civil discussion up to that point, but I was thoroughly entertained that our little chat had noised them up to the point when they must have thought “fuck this dude, I’m going to tell him that I’m going to end his bloodline in a particular way”.

If I ever lose my sense of perspective like that, I’m going to ask my partner to push a pillow onto my face when I’m snoozing, and just leave it there for ten minutes or so.
