Not that I’m aware of. For pixelfed, you still have to go through account setup when logging in from your mastodon for the first time, so I think it is just a feature implemented from the developers of pixelfed.

Exactly! I hadn’t used Twitter in almost 15 some odd years and because I started in Lemmy, I learned about mastodon.
While I’m not a daily user, I still have an account.
I’m going to be setting up a pixelfed account soon.
And loops once it’s stable.
Lemmy continues to be where I spend the majority of my time.
Use Masterson occasionally, and just created my pixelfed account and love posting my food pics over there.
Just so you know, you can login to pixelfed with your mastodon account. I assume they’ll add that feature to loops as well if they haven’t yet.
