    I recently got a new phone and the disastrous software support was the main reason I didn’t go for this one

      Yeah, that’s a problem with a ton of Android phones. You get one, maybe two major Android version updates and then goodbye. And don’t even get me started on security patches, because a lot of these devices have months of delay for them.

        With snapdragons you at least have a chance for custom Roms. Every Mediatek device is DOA for me

    Has some decent features. In case anyone is wondering about some features that many phone manufacturers skip these days, this one also misses:

    • headphone jack
    • long-term OS support (updates are slow and very limited)
    • microSD slot
    • notification LED
    • IP rating
    • replaceable battery
