Thirty-seven people were cut, and the layoffs affect every department at the company, according to a memo from the CEO.
I understand the appeal of the large influx of revenue that a lifetime subscription offers a company; but boy does it sure seem short sighted. Surely they would be better off offering some type of discount on like a 2 or 5 year deal.
Getting Plex Pass for 75 USD got me into the ecosystem. Now I promote and help support their product for free.
Satisfied customers still provide value to Plex.
