Got a sneak preview today/yesterday (Wednesday) and loved it - stunningly beautiful (every frame is a painting) and with elements that remind you of your favourite sci-fi, while still being it’s own beawt, but all done without overshadowing the very human story at the heart of it. As it was a blind screening, I was already booked in to see it tomorrow/today (Thursday) and I’m looking forward to round two.
I finally watched the screener someone gave me - The Creator is brilliant at not being brilliant. It’s a crowd-pleaser, the coolest cyberpunkiest ride I’ve taken in a while. Every scifi nerd who ever said “why isn’t there any original scifi?” needs to get out and support this movie now. There may never be another chance to see something this new again.
