I’ve just joined Lemmy and I need something to fill that RIF shaped hole.
Connect for Lemmy and Thunder are my favorites.
The best right now, is LiftOff, but people are working on converting Sync, Boost, and Slide, to lemmy apps. There are a few options starting from scratch too, like thunder, connect, summit, and jerboa
Connect For Lemmy has been a favorite of mine. It’s getting updated very frequently. There’s also a ton of apps in development.
Using it right now! This is great, I only wish there was an easier way to explore communities but I guess these things will come with time. Thanks for your help 🙂
Connect for Lemmy is pretty good
Ive been using wefwef.app and found it to be a much smoother experience than Jerboa
Liftoff is pretty good for the time being.
Sync (IMHO better than RIF) is currently being ported over, signup via https://syncapps.io/, launch in 3-5 weeks.
Many people seem to like Connect (personally I don’t, but that’s a me-thing).
Jerboa works alright if your instance is on 0.18.x; weirdly the official app is not backwards compatible, which sucks.
It actually crashes right away now because I connect to feddit.de and that is not 0.18 yet :/
