      Which is insane, because he would be if he just kept his mouth shut and only gave yearly press conferences on Tesla and spacex. Before ~2014 every one loved the guy.

    I’m wondering/imagining. Did he walk into a diy store to get that thing himself or did one of his employees do it? Did he buy it an hour before or a day before? What goes through one’s mind to think “I’ll go buy a sink and have my picture taken with it, that’ll be funny”. Was there a meeting about this?

      No way he bought that himself. He definitely made some underpaid assistant buy it about 10 minutes before he needed to walk in with it.

      Meetings are rather pointless when you’re a supervillain deathly allergic to anything but the most sycophantic of praise and affirmation.

      A week later, he uprooted thousands of lives by laying them off, without even understanding how the product worked. His severance was well below what was initially promised, and he often mocked those who were laid off, or encouraged others in their mocking. Douche bag is a gentle way of putting it.

          You mean Iceland’s person of the year who made it his personal mission to make Reykjavík more accessible for people in wheelchairs? The guy who Elon used HR’s privately disclosed info to publicly mock for his disability which he also used as illegal justification for his firing?

    He paid 44B plus the cost of this sink all for a sinked (sic) cost fallacy.

    Thank you, I’ll be here all week.

      The day that Musk took over Twitter, he walked in to the office carrying a sink.

      All so he could post this not very funny joke;

      Entering Twitter HQ - let that sink in!

      The more skeptical parts of the internet correctly pointed out that this was the start of Musk sinking the company. Which is still not a very funny joke, but some acts in this play have been hilarious. Like when Twitter started DDoSing itself a couple days ago.
