Setting Brad up in a tent in the garden would be a better solution than forcing him to room with George. It’s just needless drama, and George is a butthead. And Brad needs to learn to stand his ground – I hated how quickly he changed his tune when it looked like he might be able to get out of painting.

Yes, there are definitely soap opera writing dynamics at work in The Archers at the moment - events don’t progress naturally according to character, timing and setting, they have to be engineered to give the most dramatic outcome.
