Hello! I’m buying used Apple Watch series 7 and the seller told me that the battery health is at 88% (he bought the watch in 2022). Should I buy it or is the battery health too low?

That’s really low. My series 4 still had 88% after 4 years but suddenly dropped to 76% after 5 years. Something to do with battery aging that I don’t understand.

The previous owner of your S7 must’ve been someone who workout really a LOT!

That seems way too low, but depending on the price it would be worth it, you could change the battery when it reaches 80% and still use it for years.

I got my SE in September 2020, I charge it every day and currently it’s at 85%.

probably fine, my series 7 has 84% health, but it keeps the charge as long as when it was new jan 2002, when I wake up charge is 25-30%, I charge for ca 25 minutes up to about 80%, repeat.

I still use my series 4, it’s at 77% and works fine. Basically had it on my wrist 23 hours per day for five years straight. Only needs a charge once a day.
