I still use my series 4, it’s at 77% and works fine. Basically had it on my wrist 23 hours per day for five years straight. Only needs a charge once a day.

I don’t get it…if I’m looking at this right it’s gone for 16 hours and only drained roughly half way? Thats good, no?
I’m tattooed and never had this problem. The watch looks like it’s cutting off all blood supply though.
Unless you were in the middle of nowhere, where nobody would possibly see your crash I fail to see how useful the watch would be.
Did the watch “want” to call emergency services or prompted you? Because if you’re in a crash and unconscious it’s not very useful if doesn’t do it automatically.
I’ve never treated my Apple Watch differently than any other watch, worn it all sorts of conditions and it works fine.
Look on Amazon for a gazillion straps that are as good or better than what Apple sells you for 20% of the price.

It’s a personal decision. For me, it’s a waste of money. An Apple Watch is a depreciating asset. I’m not going to worry about scratches on a watch, it’s worn on your wrist practically all the time and they happen. I don’t care, it’s not a Rolex. Worn a series 4 for five years and have a couple scratches on it, so what? Doesn’t affect what it does at all. As for the battery, they last FOREVER. It wasn’t until last month I picked up a series 8 as the battery is starting to do its death spiral on my 4.
I don’t understand the question. Just wear it as a watch? I’ve had a series 4 on my wrist 23 hours per day for 5 years.
I got a brand new series 8 to replace my series 4, only cost me £280 brand new. I usually buy the previous years model of anything to save a good amount of money.
It’s not worth even five minutes of hassle. Far superior bands are all over the internet for a fraction of what Apple overcharges.
Cases get water trapped in them and look pretty ugly. I’ve yet to see just a glass screen protector that stays on - if anyone knows of a good brand I’m eager to know!
It was different at first but I can’t remember how 9 was after using it for a week. It works great.
it’s a watch, not a museum piece. Scuffs and scratches personalise it just for you.
