Have you ever played a game that was absolutely phenomenal, but when you reached the ending, an extremely disappointing scene played out?
Dark Souls 1 definitely did that for me. Really not a big fan of both endings.

Hogwarts. I chose the bad guy ending and literally nothing happened…like wtf?
I mean you can be a dark arts serial killer 14 year old and nothing matters in that game.
I’ve never played a game that started out so amazing and completely fell off halfway through. Glad I played it but it got rough
The main problem with Hogwarts is that it tried too hard to be so big. I don’t want a 50 hour adventure, I want to explore Hogwarts and have fun for 10-20 hours before I eventually get bored of it and do something else
They should have only done Hogwarts, forbidden forest and hogshead imo . Everything beyond that is filler .
If I can’t squish 100 hours out of a 60usd game, it better be best fucking game ever made, otherwise not worth it.
Is this sarcasm, or a legitimate opinion of yours?
Games end up with mega empty worlds and repetitive, grindy content because of some misguided “dollar per hour” reasoning like this.
I encourage all to rethink the importance of quality in their gaming experiences. You can only play so many games in your life. Make sure you aren’t squeezing the last unenjoyable drop from something just because it’s there.
If I get bored exploring an empty world I’m not getting 100 hours either. Many games have both size and quality.
I live in a third world country making 300 usd a month. If a 60 usd game bores me in less than a month it’s money wasted
Can you recommend me a handful of games that have over 100 hours of real quality?
