I don’t have a lot of experience with fighting games I did enjoy playing smash bros on the switch with friends.

I normally enjoy first person shooters but wanted to try have a go at fighting games again.

I mostly have access to pc and xbox

Rivals of Aether is basically Smash, but you can add literally any character you want. Jotaro Kujo? Why not. Ronald McDonald? Sure. A sentient suitcase? What the hell, go for it.

As said brawlhalla is the thing closest to it,the New nickelodeon brawler should also be a platform fighter so it might fit your taste,if you want to dabble with classical fighter the biggest most active games are probably SF6,MK1 and Guilty gear strive if you want to give it a shot and play online be just sure to have the right mindset because if you do they will kick your ass…alot

Tons of clones and ripoffs of smash these days. My suggestion is getting into Project M or playing Brawlhalla.

Rivals of Aether is really fun on PC. Both casual and competitive. If you want something more traditional and very easy to pick up Dragon Ball Fighterz is always my pick
