I’d personally say halo wars but idk

Definitely has the best cutscenes in the halo franchise and I’m not backing down(ok halo 2 remaster might get a pass)

    I would be interested to know what you consider a non-story game, because while I haven’t played it, after looking it up on Wikipedia I’m under the impression that Halo Wars does have a story.

      Halo 2 definitely is a “story game” as well. I guess he means games that are more narrative driven then gameplay focused? Like Uncharted or The Last of Us? Or like Telltale games or Heavy Rain maybe?

    Have to say that Diablo 2 Resurrected and Diablo 4 have some great cutscenes. Also any Fromsoft game has very good cutscenes.

    There’s not a single non-story game in the comments. You might have wanted to word the question better. As in: games where the story is not the selling point. Best non story game cutscene I can give you is fifa. It’s also the only non story game I know (but haven’t played) that also has cutscenes.

    i don’t know if you consider it a non-story game (it’s an rpg), but i love the cut scenes in ni-no-kuni – it’s like watching a studio ghibli film!
