Friend and I discovered that in Arma 3 Altis Life game you could sell your house before the server reset for the day, and upon relogging you would still have your house. Then you could sell your house again and wait for the next restart.
Took the mods a few weeks before they caught on. They checked the logs and noticed every reset we’d “earn” ~24 million dollars in a few minutes.
I miss those days, they were good friends back then :(
The Surge/Mortal Shell.
Recently got into Soulslikes but I seem very picky. Nothing “feels” quite as good as Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Sekiro, etc.
Surge just feels to “floaty” like there’s no weight to yout attacks, whereas Mortal Shell feels fantas but I find the world/lore dreadfully boring.
TIL there are no aliens. Didn’t need another reason to wait for mods yet here we are

I still get excited but significantly less. I still remember scrounging up all the info I could on Cyberpunk. A workmate and I would literally greet each other with “X days to go…” (which was funny when it would get delayed)
Last game I was excited for was Starfield but I decided to focus on my backlog, and since then I’d say I made the right decision given what I’ve heard about it. Now I’m just waiting for mods

I accidentally did that and my mate pulled me up on Sif’s “second phase” as he called it.
Warframe.
It’s not perfect and I take my fair share of hiatus’ but every update adds something interesting and I soon find myself falling down the rabbit hole again of shit I haven’t yet done (min-maxing builds, getting the good arcanes, Rivens for weapons I like, Eido hunting, etc)
I don’t get out of that hole for another 4 months or so and then it’s not too far off for another game update.
