Hello-hello, basically the title.

Ideally, the bracelet would look good but not pretentious (no gold chains please), something similar to Fischers Fritze. And of course it should be fun to fidget with, some kind of magnet or sliding action would be ideal.

Cheers 👋

Komboloi might be up your alley. They’re more skill toys than fidgets, but it’s still something to do with your hands

Looks interesting! Can you wear them like a bracelet though?

My concern is that I need to have the thing with me at all times, and ideally so it does not take any space in my pockets, so wearing it sounds like the best option.

Yep you can! I have a set on my wrist right now, in fact. Some styles can be very clunky and annoying (esp with the tassels, which are needed to be able to slide the closing bead down to slip it off your wrist and give you slinging room) but if you shop around a little I’m sure you’ll find something that works for you.

I personally never go anywhere without arounsquare’s nano mkultra set - pricey, but I’ve definitely gotten my moneys worth. You can see them in a few of my other posts on here. I also got a great set from workshopfidgets on etsy, similar to this set here. There’s also loads of other great sets on etsy, and the internet in general!

Sorry if this was long, I’m just very passionate about skill toys and fidgets of all kinds - hence having the ‘idle hands’ community here haha

Okay, I’m almost sold at this point, thanks for taking your time to convince me :) Gonna add those expensive ones to my wishlist and start with something cheaper from Etsy as a test.

And it’s totally okay to be passionate about things you like :)

          ‘idle hands’ community

Is it an actual community here on Lemmy? Can’t seem to find it.

Seems like my instance did not index this community for some reason, had to go find it manually using web version and dance with a tambourine for a little bit to make it appear.
